franchisee,

she is a former client!

Yes, Maia was first introduced

to the fabulous world of 2B&B

when our former Victoria, BC

franchisee, Lourie, came knocking

on Maia's employer's door,

pitching our beautiful

holiday gifts a couple years ago.

Well this girl has taste.

So, of course, Maia switched her corporate gift-giving account

to 2B&B (with much acclaim)!

And when Lourie had to sell her franchise due to a relocation across the province, Maia knew a good

opportunity when she saw it.

We couldn't be happier.

Possessed with a strong work ethic, a keen attention to detail,

gift-wrapping prowess,

and an outgoing and charismatic

personality, she has it all.

Watch out for her ... she'll be knocking on your door very soon

Welcome Maia!

Here are her thoughts on joining the 2B&B family:

What was your educational and career background prior to joining 2B&B?

"I have worked in the tourism industry in Victoria for 12 years. Most recently, I worked as an executive assistant to the president of a multi-million dollar company. I have spent years developing a network of excellent people that have helped me in my career. It seemed only natural to use the contacts I already have to build my own business."

Can you tell us about your family?

"I am a mother to a terrific daughter (9 years old), and I have been married to my best friend, Josh, for 13 years. We have recently added a puppy (now 6 months old and 40 lbs) to the mix!"

What appealed to you about joining 2B&B?

"I have worked in the corporate world for years and thrived on it. Long hours are not new to me. Only now, the harder I work, the more money I can potentially make. Also being at home seems to be more important than ever in my daughter's life."

What is your goal with 2B&B in your community?

"My goals really consist of a fairly basic plan: be the #1 provider for local baskets, and ensure the name be known for quality and extreme customer service. No biggie :)"

What are your favorite
2B&B products?

"I love the Sweet Truth Toffee tins, any flavor. I also love that they are so easy to personally brand for clients. Also, licorice, licorice, licorice! Love it, any flavor, color, packaging. It sells!"
